This Gypsy Tarot uses a 36-card Kipper deck. Rather than abstract symbols, its images show people and recognisable situations: meetings, news, changes, agreements, losses and opportunities. A spread therefore reads like a short story in which every scene changes the meaning of the next.

Choose a focus and three cards. The first describes the current situation, the second reveals the influence at work and the third suggests a direction. You do not need to enter your name, birth date or any personal information; the whole spread runs directly in your browser.

What is the Kipper deck?

Kipper is a European oracle of 36 illustrated scenes, distinct from the traditional 78-card tarot. People and everyday circumstances play a central role: a house, a conversation, a message, a journey, an authority figure or a long road.

The meaning does not depend on one isolated card. Good News beside Restriction tells a different story from Good News beside Great Fortune. Position and neighbouring cards create the context.

How to make your three-card spread

  1. Choose a focus. Select a general, love, or work and money reading.
  2. Keep one matter in mind. You do not have to type it; simply know which situation you want to examine.
  3. Choose three cards in order. None is selected in advance. Your choices become the situation, influence and direction.
  4. Read the full story. Consider each scene first and then the thread connecting all three.

Why the cards remain upright

This spread does not use reversed cards. The depth of Kipper comes from the relationship between scenes and the place each card occupies. A demanding card can already warn of a limit, while a favourable card never guarantees an outcome by itself.

Begin with the middle card because it contains the main influence. Then notice whether the last scene opens, slows or transforms what began in the first. The cards describe tendencies and possibilities; your decisions still matter more than a random selection.
